Mike Henry is a national Christian singer, song writer, motivational speaker, and recording artist who since 1986 has provided both music and presentations for youth and adult retreats, missions, concerts, rallies, revivals, homeless shelters prisons, juvenile offender projects, and persons with disabilities. Mike's Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, combined with over 15 years of social work experience, and 20 years of ministry experience will surely bless your group. His intense musical style and remarkable gift for crowd participation will spark your group to celebrate and profoundly venerate our Lord for His mercy and love.
Mike is currently a Supervisor of Investigators for the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals. He is also the former Campus Minister and Religion Administrator for Notre Dame High School as well as Youth Minister and Youth Praise Team leader at St. Michael Church in the Lafayette Diocese of Louisiana. His ministry at the High School had over 175 students actively involved. Mike Henry and Crazy for Christ has ministered to thousands of youth over the past few years and are increasing the number with every year. They have produced four recordings to date.
Mike's 20 years of ministry includes seminary training, Youth Minister, Eucharistic ministry, all levels of catechesis, Nursing Home Ministry, Ecumenical Ministry (Mike has had the opportunity to minister in Baptist, Assembly of God, Presbyterian, Full Gospel, and Evangelical Churches). Mike is also an American Red Cross Certified CPR / First Aid Instructor, and HIV/AIDS Prevention Trainer. He is a Certified Instructor in Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior. Mike is a Qualified Mental Health Professional and a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional. He regularly provides training and motivational speaking in secular schools and organizations as well. Mike's great asset though is his wife, Lea, and his children, Cathryn (14), Cade (11) , and Joshua (5). |
